Not many celebs, much less regular folks like you and me, can pull of the tomato-red hair that Rihanna has been flaunting. The paparazzi can’t get enough of her otherworldly hair; the “Rude Boy” singer has been caught in a blaze of flashbulbs everywhere from the MTV Video Music Awards to Katy Perry’s Vegas bachelorette party to the Miu Miu spring 2011 show in Paris. Somehow, the shocking and intentionally unnatural hair color works on her -- guess it helps if you’re 20-something and naturally gorgeous.
Not surprisingly, copycat tributes are starting to happen. Models at this fall’s Mulberry show wore red wigs, those at the Alexandre Herchcovitch show had sprayed red buns and the catwalkers at L’Wren Scott had their parts painted crimson. If you’re thinking about trying the look yourself, you can also try a cherry-red clip-in. It is a lot less of a commitment and causes zero damage to your natural locks.
